PORTOFINO MICRO BUTTON
Its name originates from the fact that Romans, first settlers of the area, repeatedly sighted multitudes of dolphins swimming in the bay. They gave it the name of Portus Delphini, port of dolphins, which finally became Portofino. In this bay of unique splendour and glamour, Hemingway, while visiting Italy in 1948, rested in a house next to the seashore that has a terrace decorated with marvellous majolica, from which we drew inspiration.
